Dynasty:

    While Sarah and Katie were in America, the Dynasty partially attacked.  They captured Sarah and Katie because the Dynasty knew about the armor of the Glacier and the armor of Redoak even though Sarah and Katie didn't. 

    The Dynasty filled the two girls with evil, making them into Warlady's under the new emperor, Emperor Kubi.  Katie became the Empress of the Evil Dynasty.  She was given the armor of Fiery Death.  She fought using two identical swords.  One of Katie's warlady powers was Fiery Scream of Death/ Terror.  Katie used the hottest type of fire, blue and purple flames.

    During battles with the Ronins, Sarah and Katie liked to divide the Ronins up, and teleported them away from each other; they rarely fought together.  Katie usually fought Ryo of Wildfire, Sage of Halo, and Rowen of Strata. 

    Katie was extremely strong as a warlady.  In one battle, she was fighting Ryo in the white armor.  The armor was literaly melted off of Ryo and it disintigrated.  Later the ronins find out that it wasn't actually destroyed but hidden by it's own power.

Ronin:

    Katie had a hard time fitting in and getting along with the other Ronins.  She had the hardest time getting along with Rowen because he didn't trust her at all.  At first, none of the ronins trusted her or liked her.  Ryo was the first one to get along with her and they became best friends.  Sai was the second to become Katie's friend.  Then Kento, then Sage and finally after the dynasty was defeated again, Rowen trusted her. 

    Katie has the armor of redoak.  Unlike the guys, she didn't descover her armor until she absolutely needed it.  Her armor came to her during a battle with the dynasty.  Katie and Sarah recieved their armor, defeated the enemy and were automatically sent back to where their armor was made.  Then, the guys had to go searching aimlessly for the girls.  Katie was found inside a huge green glowing oak tree in northern Japan. 

    After finding Sarah due to a lucky guess, the ronins decided to visit Sage's uncle who lived closeby.  Sage remembered that there was a strange grouping of oak trees a few miles from his uncle's house, so they decided that it was worth a try.  That's when they found Katie.

    Once she had her armor, in battles, she would thow herself in front of the other ronins when they were attacked off guard by an airborne warlord power.  She said it was because, "It's stupid to let the strong warriors get worn out."  What she meant was that she was so weak compared to the guys, that the only thing she's useful for is a shield (unfortunately, it was mostly true.  She had lost a lot of power when she switched to the ronin's side.  Also, she was still trying to get used to her armor, something that the guys had years to do).  Sarah and Ryo explained the rest to the guys, that Katie was also trying to earn their trust.

    Katie's special attack is called "Spiral Leaf Shine" which shoots green lazer looking things out of her weapon.  Her weapon seems like it's just a dagger, but she can make it reach incredible lengths.  Her weapon will form to the size of one of Ryo's swords, so it looks just like your average samurai sword blade.  Since Katie trained on different skills for a year while she was in the dynasty, she knows a lot about condensing energy.  She taught Ryo how to do a new attack with just his first armor on.  Since his armor is the wildfire, he learned how to shoot fire and red burning energy from his hands.   Ryo then taught the rest of the ronins what she taught him. 

    At first, everybody (except Katie) thought that Ryo had a crush on Katie, but much to Rowen's relief it wasn't true.  Sage was actually the one with the crush on her although he would never admit it.  When everyone (yet again except Katie) realized this, it was after a battle before the girls found their new armor.  Everyone was sitting outside of Mia's house.  Katie said, "I love cherrie blossoms, aren't they beautiful?"  Katie turned her glance tward Sage who was just staring at her looking suprized.  Katie thought that he was making fun of her so she went into the house, meanwhile Sage followed her with his eyes.  Everyone left outside stared at Sage.  Ryo and Sarah looked happy and excited.  Sai and Kento looked undecided, and Rowen looked angry and betrayed (Rowen still hated Katie at that point).  Sage deliberately went back to being a jerk twards Katie to prove that he still didn't trust her. 

    Sage and Katie eventualy started dating before the last battle with Kubi.  Katie and Sage don't show a lot of affection twards eachother like Rowen and Sarah do.  Katie knows how upset Ryo and Sai will get because they both really want a girlfriend, so Sage and Katie keep it very low key.  Sage's grandfather almost imediately aproved of their relationship because he adored Katie (because she's so polite and sweet).  He also thought that she would keep Sage going on the right track with his life.

Personality: When Katie was the Empress, she seemed to have a cold heart, but at points, her true nature was able to shine through.  Once she was saved from the dynasty's clutches, she was very quiet and didn't talk much.  Whenever Rowen threatened her, she threatened him right back.  They often got into fights and those were the times that Katie talked the most.  

    Once everyone got used to her, and she got used to them, her true personality came out.  She's almost always happy.  She's still quiet and not too talkative, but there are times when she has so much to say, that she has to talk super fast to get it all out.  She's a sweet person who doesn't like making fun of others (so much so that Ryo had to teach her in one episode, how to make fun of the enemy), but she also finds nothing wrong with teasing her closest friends every once in a while. 

    She's not and air-head or dumb-blonde.  She's actually very smart.  Her school in Boston allowed her to skip a grade in math and science, so she takes those same classes as the guys. 

    Katie seems to be pure and innocent, and she is.  She would do anything for her friends, and she seems not to be afraid of anything (except bugs and rats, but what girl isn't?).  She understands her destiny as a Ronin, it's what she's always wanted.  She always felt the power inside of her, since she was a child.  She's a skilled fighter, but her strength is small.  Whenever she's angry, she loses her focus and has trouble fighting.  She's strongest when she has mixed emotions.  Anger, saddness, depression and feeling that there's no turning back.
