Kento's Big Surprise

Narrator: The Ronins fell in their last two battles to Warlady Sarah, the mysterious Commander of the Dark Warlords.  Now she continues attacking, but what is she trying to gain?

    Kento's walking home from school, and as he walks into the house, you see Warlady Sarah on the roof.  Kento sits down on the couch.  His 5 year old sister, Chun Fa, walked into the room.

    "Hey Chun, what are you doing home so early?" Kento asked her.

    "I had a half school day, and then I went to my friend's house, and since school was over for you, I came home."

    "Oh yeah, that's right, sorry I forgot.   I've had a lot on my mind lately.  Our siblings shouldn't be back for another two hours, right?"

    "Yep!  Kento, can I go outside and play?"

    "Sure Chun Fa.  I'm just going to catch up on some MUCH needed sleep."  Kento yawns and closes his eyes.  Chun Fa ran out the door. 

    Chun runs back in, "Umm, Kento, there's a girl on the roof."

    "What!" Kento exclaimed.  He ran outside and looked up to see Sarah. 

    "Finally!  So, are you ready?" Sarah asked.

    "Chun, go back inside and don't come out until I tell you to."  Chun just looked at him, confused.  "I SAID GO!" Kento yelled.  She immediately ran into the house and hid under a table.   "Now I'm ready!"

    "Cute kid, is she your sister?" Sarah asked.

    "Man, you stay AWAY from her!  Got it?!"  Kento puts on his first armor then, "ARMOR OF HARDROCK TOU GI!"   Kento was now wearing his full hardrock armor.  Sarah jumped off the roof and they began to fight using their weapons.  They seemed to be equal in skill. 

    Meanwhile: You see Sage walking down the street (he's wearing his school uniform).  Sage looked at his hand which is holding his cell phone, "I can't believe I'm trusting Kento with this," he thought to himself.   He looked up and saw Kento fighting Sarah.  Sage started running towards them.   Suddenly, Sage was surrounded by Dynasty soldiers. 

    Sarah hit Kento in the gut with her staff.   She made a ball of fire in her hand.  Then she gripped her staff with both hands, leaving the fireball in the air.  She spun her staff.  At each end of her staff, orange energy came out to feed the fireball.  It got bigger and then surrounded Kento.

    Kento yelled out in pain.  "OHH!  It's so hot.  My armor is getting tighter!"

    Sage punched one soldier, kicked another and fought off the rest.  As soon as they were all defeated, Sage again began to run to Kento.   Sage was surrounded by even more soldiers.  "ARMOR OF THE HALO!  TOU CHI!" Sage put on his armor and beat all of the soldiers.  Then he started running to Kento again.

    Sage ran and jumped over Kento to fight Sarah.   They began to fight.  They seemed about equal in strength until Sage hit her into the air by pushing hard with his sword against her staff.  While floating in the air, Sarah threw down her staff.  She made a fireball in each hand.  "Do you really think that you're stronger than me, Sage?" Sarah asked.  She threw the fireballs at him. 

    Sage dodged the first one, but the 2nd one hit him in his right hand.  He yelled, dropped his sword and held his hand.  He looked up from his hand just to see a fireball coming right at him.  He jumped out of the way, did a flip on the ground, and as soon as he stopped, another fireball hit him in his right leg.  Sage slowly started to get up.

    Sarah lunged at Sage.  Kento yells, "IRON ROCK CRUSHER!!"  Sarah barely dodges it and Sage jumps at her.   He tackles Sarah to the ground.  Sage moves his hand to punch her in the face, but without her even moving, he is thrown off but he lands on his feet, next to his sword.   He painfully picks it up. 

    Kento runs toward Sarah, "SAGE!  Let's show her what the Ronin Warriors are made of!"  Sage moves into fighting stance.  

    Sarah jumps into the air and keeps going up further, back first until they couldn't see her anymore.  "Did she leave?  ALL RIGHT!  WOOHOO!"   Kento yelled.

    "Wait!  Kento." Sage said quickly.

     "WE SHOWED HER!"  Kento yelled.  Suddenly, orange fire rushed down on them.   Sage held up his sword which began to glow blue and it created a green bubble around the both of them.  The bubble faded and Kento jumped on top of Sage, and got hit BAD with the fire.

   "Kento, are you all right?" Sage asked.

    Kento coughed twice. "It was no problem Sage.  Really," Kento passed out.  Sage got up and got ready to fight.  Orange energy came flooding down towards Sage.  Sage put his sword ahead of him.  He jumped into the energy.  His sword split apart the energy.  He went completely through it and began to attack Sarah.  While they were fighting, they were also falling out of the sky.

    "Sorry about your friend, is he dead?" Sarah questioned evilly. 

    "No way!  He's a whole lot tougher than you'd like to think."

    "Sleeping then?"  She smiled evilly.  Sage lunged at her with his sword.  They jumped away from each other and landed on the ground.  Sarah jumped at Sage and through a fireball into his left eye.

    "AHHHHHHhhhhhhhh!  My EYE!" Sage cried out in pain.  Tears were dripping from his closed injured eye.  "Ohh, it BURNS!"  Sage sees in his head, a memory, of a boy wearing a kendo mask throwing some dust stuff at his face.

    "Oh, I'm sorry your not strong enough to handle it Sage.  Too bad," Sarah said.

    "My honor," Sage said.  Sarah looks confused.  Sage sees another memory of a man with his face in the shadows...

               "SAGE!  You have brought shame to your family!"   The man grabbed Sage's (he is 14 in              this memory) arm.

           "But..." Sage said.  The man pushed Sage to the ground.

           "You don't deserve the name Date!"  Then the man shut a door, and everything went dark.

    "MY HONOR!" Sage yelled.  Sage opened only his right eye and lunged at Sarah with incredible speed and strength.  Sage knocked Sarah to the ground.  Sage moved his sword to stab into her, but she rolled out of the way.  Sarah got up from the ground and Sage attacked her with his sword.  They locked weapons. 

   "Well, it's been fun but I'd better get goi-" Sarah said, but was cut off by Sage pushing through her.   She jumped back and fell to the ground.  "How did he do that!" She said to herself.  She thought, "He's a lot stronger than I thought." 

    She got up just to see Sage running at her.  She defensively held out her staff in front of her.  Sage slammed his sword against it.  Sarah struggled to keep it up, but failed.  Sage's sword cut through Sarah's tiara, and it fell in two pieces on the ground and it's crystal was flung into the air.  "Ohh, my tiara, that's IT!!!!!!!!!!" Sarah yelled.  She jumped at Sage and knocked him to the ground.

   "HEY!" Kento yelled as he was getting back up.  "I'm all refreshed and ready to fight, so come on!"

    "You don't look refreshed!" Sarah yelled.  She shot fire at him and he slammed into a tree.  Sarah turned toward Sage whose eye glowed blue.  "Ummm, Kubi, CAN I GO BACK NOW!  PLEASE!" Sarah yelled.

   "THUNDER-BOLT CUT!" Sage yelled.  His thunderbolt cut landed right on top of her, but she disappeared.  Sage was suddenly knocked to the ground from behind.   

    "It's not over yet Halo, I'll be back," Sarah's voice was heard, but Sage couldn't see her.

        In the Dynasty:

    Sarah is kneeling in pain on the floor of her hut.  "Thank you for bailing me out back there."

    "It was nothing.  Besides, we can't have you die," a girl in the shadows says.

    "I wasn't planning on dying.  I could have beaten them.  But I was just supposed to test them, that's all.  Okay?"

    "I wasn't criticizing you. Now..." She steps out of the shadows.  It is a girl with long blonde hair, wearing armor.  "...to get back your tiara."

    At Kento's house, on the lawn:

    Kento is laying on the ground with Sage's cell phone in hand.  Sage is laying on his back about 20 feet away with his eyes closed.  They are no longer wearing their armors. 

    "Okay, they should be here any minute now," Kento said.  "Ahh, there's the bus!"  All of the rest of the guys run off the bus, down the street and into Kento's yard. 

   "KENTO!" Sai yelled.  Kento sat up.

   "Hey guys!" Kento said.

    "Are you all right?" Sai asked Kento.

    "Yea.  Lets get Sage into the house and then I'll tell you what happened," Kento told him.

    Rowen is over by Sage, "Sage, wake up, SAGE!"

    "Rowen, calm down!  I'm awake, ok?"

    "OH, well I'm sorry that I couldn't tell!" Rowen said sarcastically. "Maybe you should open your eyes so I can."

    "Rowen, I can't open my left eye and the other is hidden by my hair," Sage stated.

    "Really?"  Rowen moved Sage's hair out of his eye.  "Oh, I guess you're right."

    "Do you need help, Sage?" Ryo asked.

    "Yeah," Sage answered.  Ryo and Rowen lifted Sage up and helped him into the house.  Sai and Kento walked ahead of them. 

    "Kento are you sure you don't need any help?"

    "Yeah, I'm fine."

        In the Dynasty:  Katie holds out her hands, palms facing down.  Her hands started glowing blue and a black ball of energy formed in her hands.  She moved her hands around the ball until her palms were facing up.  She took the energy ball in her left hand and hit it on the ground.  It bounced and on it's way back down, she bumped it like a volleyball.  It shot up into the sky.

        At Kento's house:  Inside, Sage is sitting on the couch, fixing his hair (with his left hand), trying to get it out in front of his open eye.  It kept falling back into place.  Ryo and Sai were sitting on the floor, and Rowen was sitting next to Sage.  They were all watching Sage.  Kento was walking into the room with Chun Fa.  Kento was carrying a huge bucket of ice.

   "...do you understand, I'm sorry I yelled," Kento told Chun Fa.

   "Uh-huh," she answered. 

    "Hey guys!!  I got the ice for Sage!"  Kento held up the bucket.  Chun Fa took an ice cube and put it on Sage's hand.

    "I'm sorry that you got hit by a car, Sage," she said sweetly. 

   "Car?" Sage looked at Kento, confused.  Kento nodded at Sage. "Uh, yea, well it's not like it hasn't happened to me before," Sage answered calmly. 

    Ryo whispered to Sai, "He's been hit by a car before?"

    "I guess so," Sai answered.

    "Sage, do you need a hair clip to hold back your hair?  You can use mine," Chun Fa asked as she pulled a clip with a butterfly and a heart on it out of her hair.

   "No, that's ok, I'm fine."

    "Thank you for protecting my brother."

    "Uh-huh," Sage nodded.  Chun Fa left the room.  "What was she talking about?"

    "Oh, I told her that you were hit by a car because you pushed me out of its way," Kento told him.

    Sage pulled a hair band out of his pocket and pulled his hair back so that both of his eyes were showing.  Ryo pulled something out of his pocket.  "Rowen, look at what I found outside," Ryo said as he handed it to him.

    "Hey, that's Warlady Sarah's jewel from her tiara," Sage said.  Then the crystal began to glow.

    "Ahh, it's HOT!" Rowen dropped it.  Suddenly, the black energy surrounded it out of no where and dissolved it.  "Hey, where'd it GO?"

    Sage looked down at his hand which had a ton of ice on it, "Who cares."

    "Hey Sage, what's wrong?" Rowen asked. 

    "Nothing."

        In the Dynasty:  Sarah's tiara materieaizes from darkness.  Katie picks it up as it's glowing.   "Here Sarah." Sarah takes it.  "Our plans have changed."

    "What?!"

    Katie closed her eyes.  "Due to that last battle, you will begin nonstop training, NOW!"  Katie opened her eyes and Sarah disappeared, and you could hear her scream echo in the room.

Narrator: What was Sage remembering in that last battle which led him to victory? Why was the tiara so important that they had to retrieve it?  Who will attack while Sarah is training? And who is this other mysterious Dynasty girl? The situation draws more mysterious the longer it lasts, who will come out victor?
